Privacy and data processing policy

1. Data controller

2. Legal framework

Colombian Constitution (art. 15), Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 (Decree 1074 of 2015) and Law 527 of 1999 on data messages.

3. Data we collect

Signers: name, ID type and number, email, mobile (optional), location, profession and optional professional license number, plus technical evidence (date, time, IP address, browser and version of the accepted text). Sector members and international organizations: the details entered in their forms.

4. Sole purpose

Data is used only to support the movement's position before the Congress of Colombia on Bill 002 of 2025 (Senate), including filing the list of signers with the House of Representatives. Data is never sold or used for advertising.

5. What is public

Only totals, aggregate figures and — with explicit consent — name and city. ID numbers are encrypted and never published.

6. Your rights

You may access, update, correct or delete your data, revoke your consent, request proof of consent and file complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC). Write to [CORREO DE CONTACTO]. Queries are answered within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days.

7. Security and international transfer

Data is encrypted in transit, ID numbers are encrypted at rest, access is role-based and exports are audited. Data is hosted by cloud providers (Supabase, Vercel) that may store it outside Colombia.

8. Retention

Data is kept while the bill is in Congress and for up to one year after it is shelved or enacted, unless you request deletion earlier.
